The Department of Human Services (DHS) will host a stakeholder meeting to share progress on the Statewide Home and Community-Based (HCBS Waiver) Settings Transition Plan on August 17 from 3:00 to 4:30 at UAMS in Room 226 of the I. Dodd Wilson Building in Little Rock.
At this stakeholder meeting, the Division of Medical Services, the Division of Aging and Adult Services, and the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services will address general information about the HCBS Settings Transition Plan and any issues specific to the divisions. Recently, DHS submitted our Statewide HCBS Waiver Settings Transition Plan to the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on June 29, and DHS is awaiting CMS comment and approval.
Since there is no pre-registration for this event, people will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. The room has a maximum of lecture-style seating for 214 attendees, plus 5 spaces that are wheelchair accessible.
