The purpose of the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging (GACA) is to advise the Governor and the Division of Aging and Adult Services about the needs of older Arkansans and the programs that serve them. The GACA is administered by the Division of Aging and Adult Services, Department of Human Services. GACA is governed by a set of by-laws established by council members. The Governor appoints members. Meetings are held quarterly in Little Rock. Arkansans interested in membership opportunities may contact the Division of Aging and Adult Services.
